Chartered Laws is a legal service team comprised of senior lawyers from leading Chinese law firms, with extensive experience in cross-border investment and M&A, corporate governance, dispute resolution, labor and employment, as well as matrimonial and inheritance matters.

We specialize in serving international companies and foreign individuals in their business and personal issues in or with China. Clients we served are from all over the world and from different industries.

We put our feet in our clients’ shoes to understand our clients’ needs and concerns. Further to that, our expertise, experience and language proficiency allow us to understand cases in a comprehensive manner and tailor efficient, practical and cost-effective strategies for our clients.

We are based in Guangzhou, one of the four key cities of the Greater Bay Area in China, which includes among others, Shenzhen, Foshan, Hong Kong and Macau. In addition to the Great Bay Area and other cities of Guangdong province, we also help our clients solve legal issues in some adjacent provinces, for example, Hainan, Guangxi, Hunan, and Fujian.
